Songfest Group Info Meeting
Have a group interested in participating in Songfest? Thinking about putting one together? Considering serving in a group leadership role? Representing others who are interested in doing one of these things?
If this sounds like you, the Group Info Meeting is your starting point. This meeting marks the beginning of the Songfest group production and preparation process. Putting together a successful group show is a crazy, exciting, challenging, and rewarding journey, and this first step will launch you on your way.

For all interested groups and potential group leaders!
Potential group leaders (Producer, Director, etc.) and representatives from every group considering Songfest participation should attend.
This meeting is NOT for students interested in auditioning to be a Songfest host. The most current information about host auditions can be found here.
At the Group Info Meeting, we will:
- Describe the show production process
- Give out and discuss critical production calendars
- Go over rules/policies/requirements
- Announce/discuss this year's show theme
- Provide additional production resources and information (guides, templates, sample submissions, etc.)
- Ask/answer questions
The meeting usually runs about 60-90 minutes, but varies from year to year. We proceed as quickly as we can. Come on time!
If you are considering leading a group, make sure you attend. If you have a group that would like to participate, but you don't yet have designated leaders, make sure that you at least send a representative to get all the information for your group.
